Privacy Policy

Who we are

Marketable is an AI-first platform that plans, launches and manages advertising campaigns for small businesses. We are based in New Zealand. For anything about your information, email privacy@trymarketable.com.

Information we collect

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the time you signed up, and your browser and device details. This is sent as a message to our team's private Slack workspace so we can contact you. We do not store waitlist entries in a database, and the message does not include your IP address.

This website

We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs to keep the site secure and fast.

The Marketable service

  • Account details — your name, email address and business details.
  • Google account identity — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
  • Google Ads data — if you connect a Google Ads account, we access it through the Google Ads API using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords permission. This lets Marketable view and manage the ad accounts you connect: the campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets and performance figures needed to run your advertising.
  • Payment details — handled by a payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.

How we use your information

We use your waitlist email to tell you when Marketable is available. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.

We use your information to create, launch, monitor and improve advertising campaigns on your instructions, to support you, to keep the service secure, and to meet our legal obligations.

Google user data and Limited Use

When you connect a Google account, we only access the data needed to provide Marketable's features to you: your Google identity to sign you in, and your Google Ads data to build, run and report on the campaigns you ask us to manage.

We store the access token for each connected account, and a copy of the campaign settings and performance reports we need to run and report on your campaigns. When you disconnect an account or close your Marketable account, we delete this data within 30 days.

We do not:

  • sell your Google data to anyone, including advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers;
  • use it for serving ads, retargeting, or personalised or interest-based advertising beyond the campaigns you ask us to run;
  • let humans read it, except with your permission, for security reasons, or where the law requires;
  • use it to create, train or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Where we use AI models to analyse your data and propose changes to your campaigns, those providers process it under contract solely to deliver that feature.

Marketable's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke Marketable's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Who we share information with

Only the providers we need to run Marketable: Cloudflare (hosting), Slack (internal notifications), Google (sign-in and the Google Ads API), AI model providers (to analyse campaigns and propose changes), and a payment provider. They process your information only on our instructions, and some of them store it in the United States and other countries.

We may also share information where the law requires it. If Marketable is sold or merged, we will transfer your Google data to the new owner only with your consent. We do not sell your information.

Security and retention

Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted. We keep your waitlist email until Marketable launches or you ask us to remove it. Service data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of your closing it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@trymarketable.com. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page and email people on the waitlist and our customers about significant changes. If we want to use your Google data in a new way, we will ask for your consent first.
